Flying solo
Back around Christmas I agreed — quite happily — to do some reviews for Eden Fantasys, an online adult toy store. When I agreed, we were in the middle of some renovations and my home computer was out of commission. Wouldn’t you know it, just when I had things set up again at the house and could commit to reviewing products, my relationship went, well, wonky. I think, in fact, my much anticipated toys arrived the week he moved away. Great timing, eh?
During the first week of our split, I was so angry and fuck-you-I’m-moving-on, I tossed out every sex toy we’d ever used together — which was quite a load of them. It took a while, not surprisingly, for me to work my way around to even wanting to crack those new toys out of their boxes. But being a healthy woman with a healthy appetite, I eventually did. A girl’s got to get to sleep somehow.
And so here’s my long-awaited review of the Pleasurezone Slim Magic Duo.
I’m a clitoral girl, so when I saw this vibe, I thought it’d be perfect: get that action where it needs to be. And at first all was well. The vibe is soft, pliable, and strong, with a magic bullet-type vibe right at the crux of things. The battery pack is super easy and the one-button control makes for uncomplicated manipulation of the three speeds. But. It just didn’t fit right. The open area, I suppose, is meant to nestle around your clit, but it just swallowed me. Much too large a space for my needs, and I ended up just focusing on the bulleted section, which works just fine, thank you, fine. Powerful at all speeds, but not overwhelming.
I haven’t used it in the bath — yet. But I’m sure it’ll be great there, its softness and malleability should go well with some slip and slide.
For me, this one’s just ok. Well made, pretty, soft material, and powerful but with a useless loopy bit at the top that I don’t use.
